Can someone give me some information on the AP's. We are going this July for 4 days but are only planning on 2 days in the park. We are also going next June for 7 days. What are the prices and what does it get me?

We were thinking about just buying one day tickets for this year and maybe a hopper pass for next.

Thanks

There are Annual Passes & Premium Annual Passes:

Annual - Unlimited admission into all 4 parks for 365 days
Premium Annual - Unlimited admission into all 4 parks, water parks, Disney Quest & Pleasure Island for 365 days.

I don't the exact costs so check the Disney web site, however, the Premiums are about $120 more than the regular. Our premiums just expired. We are going to get more AP's, but are deciding whether to get the premiums or not. We actually still have unused water park days on some old hoppers so are not sure if we should spend the extra $120 per ticket (there are 5 of us). We don't do Pleasure Island & did Disney Quest once.

We absolutely LOVED having the AP. Used it during 2 Easter seasons (2 weeks each time) & went once in December for a week so we feel we got our monies' worth. We have decided that we will always go with the AP's just for the fact of the flexibility. You can go into a park for an hour at a time & not feel like you have "taken a day off of your ticket". We have gone to EPCOT to watch Illuminations & get dessert in France then walked around the Boardwalk to "work off dessert".

When we stayed at the Contemporary this past trip we went to MK in the morning, got FP's for Space Mountain, spent the day swimming & went back in to use our FP's & got an ice cream for the walk back to the Contemporary. Our kids loved it.

Only you know your budget, however, since getting the AP's, our trips have been 100% more enjoyable & less stressful. If you can swing it in your budget & will be returning for another trip within the year, then I say go for it.

Plus, you get a discount with the Disney Club card. I think $15 on regular & $20 on Premiums.

AP are about $369 + tax BUT with the Disney Club Card it comes to (tax included) $354.04 per adult. (don't have the child cost - Sorry).

Should consider the Hopper Plus ticket option. Five Days Hopper plus 2 Plus Options (water parks/DisneyQuest/or Pleasure Island), which will give you 7 days of fun. Or try the Seven days Hopper Plus with 4 Plus Days.

Just to avoid any confusion or disappointment, Disney Quest is NOT included in the plus options of a PHP pass.

Thanks for all the replies, I think I need to do some investigating. I mean if I am going to spend around $325 for this year and next year combined, it might be worth getting the AP's. Maybe then I can convince my hubby to go on an extra trip!!!

I would never again buy one day tickets -- too costly.... Would buy hopper passes with the most days (no plusses for us) - two or three of them. They never expire. I only wish I had purchased lots of them when we first started going in 1985. They were much, much, much cheaper back then.

Or ,if you can justify the annual passes, they are the best way to go. We bought them for the 1st time this year and we just love them. Of course, they have us planning an extra week in between the two we planned at the beginning and end of the year. But we drive down, and sometimes do not stay onsite. With the AP's you get free parking at the parks.
We missed out on the 100 days lanyard and pin, but we did get lanyards & pins at AK. We also missed out on the passholder lounges at AK and Epcot and the special firework viewing area at Epcot. But all those are extras, too.
