AP Question

I posted this already but got moved to heaven knows where.
Now that I have an AP, I tried to log into the disney website passholder area, and it won't let me. I know I'm using the right log in, I tried dad's too, but neither one work. Any one else having problems? Or anyone else trying for the 1st time having a problem?

I had a hard time the first time I logged on. I had to call the passholder phone number and speak with someone to get them to help me get on the site. They had to reset something (can't recall exactly what they had to do).

Are you using the number on an activated pass or on a voucher? If you are using the voucher, it might not be in the system until it is activated. I know we always have trouble getting our Mickey Monitor in the year we have our pass. We used to always do the renewal thing when the renewal was a voucher and the clock didn't start ticking until you activated it. A few years ago, they started the clock ticking from the expiration/renewal date, so it didn't make sense to us to renew from this distance. Since then, we have purchased a new AP voucher every other year. We go 3 times in that 366 day period, and then take a year off before purchasing a new voucher. We usually don't start getting our Mickey Monitor until about the time our passes expire, and then we get them regularily the whole year we don't have a pass!

No, it is with an activated pass. They have been active since 4/18.

athenna...let us know how the call goes. I tried the same thing and just gave up about a week ago. Yes it is an active pass and yes I'm sure I entered exactly is printed on the pass.

I didn't bother to call since I figured 95% of what I'd want to know I could find using the search function here!

I can currently log on but have had trouble at various times as well. Sometimes I have had to try several of our APs before I get one to work!

You probably already know this but be sure not to use the punctuation. I think it is case sensitive as well. Also, some of the codes at the beginning are similar so be careful there.

But I agree with Granny: if all else fails, I know I can check for news on the DIS.

I've got DSL, should that make a difference? Can tell how techo I am, can't you? lol.

So I can get into it from work, but can't download mickey monitor (not supposed to be able to download from here) and it's so slow!!!!!

I had problems last weekend when I tried it. I discovered if I typed my name in all caps it worked. Also be sure to select a code from the drop down box before the number (example - WEC).

I did remember to select the code, but never thought to try the name in all caps. I'll give it a shot.
