AP question

I have never had an AP, but I am considering getting one this year if they offer an AP discount for my vacation dates.

How would I find out the AP rates if they become available for my dates? Do I just call and tell the CM I want to know what they are, even though I don't currently have an AP?

the way i understand it, AP rates are not guaranteed to be offered and if they are, rooms are limited. You CAN book at an AP rate as long as you purchase the AP before you check in. Having said that...the quickest, best way to find out about any rates or discounts is right here on the DIS...these folks are amazing.

Right now there are only AP rates through April 16. In the old days the AP rates came out before the general public discounts, but not any more.

What are your dates? I don't mind checking and letting you know the rates if they're released. I say if because Disney has been, as the PP said, releasing those dates later. If, in fact, they will be cutting back on discounts, APs might be the first to go because they know we're coming back. Now, that is just my opinion. I do wish that if that was the case that there would be an announcement instead of making us check every day.
