AP question

When does your year that your AP is good for start? Let's say you buy your AP online but don't actually use it until a few weeks later....will your year begin on the day the AP was purchased or on the day you first use it to enter the park?

Unless anything changed, the AP expires one year from date of entry. However, there is a time frame in which you must redeem the ticket.

EDIT: All this information will be on your e-ticket.

Just confirming what the PP said. It is one year from your first visit, not from the date you purchase it online, but it will tell you when you buy it that you have to activate it within a certain window. When I bought mine online last year, the window was several months away.

Yes, it is definitely one year from when you activate your AP. We did that in 09, for Christmas 08 DBF's parents gave us DAP vouchers for Christmas gifts, we went for DBF's bday the beginning of Jan and activated our AP's at that time. Our AP's expired in Jan 10.

I bought my Premium AP 9 days before I left on my trip. The AP centre in DL is on Main Street on the left hand side past the Carnation Cafe, and directly across from the Plaza Inn. The AP processing centre in CA is in the Greetings from California store just inside the enterance. What I did when I arrived at the parks the day of my arrival, was that I saw the lineups to get into DL were really long, so went to the CA ticket booth, and showed them my E-ticket. They gave me a plastic card, and was directed to the Greetings from California store, and less than 5 mins later had the AP and was hunting for a place to eat lunch. It's that simple, and even though I bought my AP 9 days before I arrived, it's start date was the date I arrived and entered the parks for the first time. I thnk the e-tickets are good for at least 40 days before they expire, so you've got lot's of time to exchange them before they expire. Hope that this helps you out.

IT STARTS in the year you buy it.. let say you buy it online today in this year..it is good from the day you buy untill the next year on the same date! so like 10/23/10 -10/23/2011

That is not correct. It starts a year from when you first USE it. So if I buy it tonight, for example, but don't activate it at the parks for another month or so, my year would begin next month when I went to the parks for the first time, NOT tonight when I bought it online.
