AP Question

We are heading down in two weeks for our first trip home. We will arrive Friday, late afternoon or early evening. We will not be going to any parks until Sat. morning. Is there anywhere we can go to get our AP's Fri. night that is not at a park so we can start strong Sat. morning or should we just get them at MK Sat. morning?

You could buy them at DTD or make a run to any park to buy them. But the APs become effective immediately.

Now that there is no longer any incentive to purchase APs before a trip, we always just buy them when we go to our first park. That way we maximize our days. Early in the am, we've never experienced long lines at GS at the parks.

Especially since I saw that the "park" days and the "water parks and more" days can be completely separate. You can actually get way more than 10 full days of Disney activities out of a 10-day pass, if you don't do a water park or Disney Quest, etc, on the same day you go to one of the major parks. For right now, I don't think I'll be able to be at WDW enough days within a calendar year for an AP to be effective for me. Getting the "non-expiring" feature on the hopper and more may last me a couple of years, or more.

Thanks for the help. I think we will do the AP this time b/c we are going to 8 day in April and 7 days in Oct. Normally we don't go twice in one year.
