I just want make sure I am doing the right thing. I purchased my AP pass online. I booked our trip for 12/8-12/13 using the AP4 rate. I booked one room for myself and one room for my friend. I am the only one with the AP. Am I right that you can book up to to 2 rooms with the AP4 rate if you are an Annual Passholder? Does it matter if she will be paying for her room on her own?

Yes, you can book two rooms. I really am not sure about the payment. If you are using a credit/debit card you may need to pay for the room and have your friend reimburse you... maybe someone here will know the answer regarding payment.

I just did this with the AP5 rate. I booked two rooms with the second room (non AP holder) under a different credit card so this shouldn't be a problem for you. I can't believe how accomodating Disney is/has been.

We did this in Aug '06 for my inlaws who were travelling with us. We arrived first at 9am and checked in. My inlaws arrived later in the day, around 3pm and we just needed to meet them at front desk and show our APs at their check in. My MIL had no trouble putting the room on her credit card and the staff was very helpful. I don't think you'll have an issue as we were also told you can book up to 2 rooms.
