AP question with meal discounts

My DH and I have AP's, but my parents who are going with us do not. Is the discount only for each passholder or can I put my moms on my bill and my dads on DH's ?

I don't know about any AP discount.

The discount is for the passholder and up to 3 guests.

We've gone with 5 people before and they've given us the AP discounts no problem. We've even gotten the discounts on a weekend eventhough the AP book says it only applies Mon-Fri.
