AP question for 11/07

Can anyone tell me if I can purchase an AP at this years prices and use them for our trip 11/07. You used to be able to buy AP's and they would not be activated until the first day of use. At the AK guest services in October we were told that the policy has changed and they are activated from the day that they are purchased. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is true but what you can do is buy the voucher on-line ( we did last Oct right before those price increases) and then Activate it when you go . We did this in June.

I did hear that they no longer sell the AP's with the usage delay as they have the date printed on them now.

Remember rules can change at any time check with another Cm I would call ticketing and ask them.

I bought our AP vouchers from the member website the day before the increase. I have the vouchers and we will activate them on our upcoming trip.

I think the difference is that passes bought on property are live/active passes.

Those purchased on-line are vouchers that need to be exchanged for an actual AP once on property. The anniversary date for these will be the date you exchange them for a live pass not the date you ordered them.

What is the discount for DVC members on AP's? I can't seem to get onto the DVC website.
