I'm sure this has been asked numerous times before and I apologize for asking again. I did do a search and didn't find the answer to my particular question.

My AP expires on May 29th and I will be at DW from May 17th to May 25th. If I renew now, will my renewed AP expiration date still May 29th and will I still be able to use the photopass perk on my trip in May?

A renewal means that you will keep the current Anniversary date.
(But, extend the expiration by one year.)

Thanks, Robo. I thought that was probably the case, but I wanted to be sure.

I think you were asking about the photopass perk with the new annual pass categories. I am not sure about the photopass features that come with the new annual pass categories but can only give you our experience. I know that when we renewed our annual passes in October (right after the change to the new category, any pictures taken before the renewal date were not included in the photopass perk - only those taken after our renewal date when the new annual pass category kicked in. Those pictures taken prior to our renewal date were in our photopass account but were labeled not available for download.

Thanks. That was one of the questions I had about renewing my current pass. Looks like my trip in December will be the first time I can use the photopass perk.

If your AP doesn't expire until 4 days after your trip (you said you leave 25th and your AP expires 29th)......and then the next trip is in December... I would NOT renew your AP and let it sit unused for 6 months. I would suggest that you wait and get a NEW AP so that the expiration date would be December 2017. The savings for renewal are not worth having it sit dormant for half it's life.

That's a good point. I usually go twice a year--May and November/December. Either way, it's two visits on the same AP, even if I renew now.
