Just been working out the cost of the APs as opposed to the park tickets. Am I missing something as we are going for 5 days so need park tickets for 4 days - the cost of a 4 day ticket (2 parks) is £109 per adult as opposed to an AP (Francillien) of £70 or even Fantasy at £101 - is this right??

Did I read somewhere that the Francillien APs don't exist anymore?

Also where can I find out the restriction dates for the Fantasy AP please? I've looked on the site but my French isn't that hot - esp written. ETA - just found the restriction dates - thanks!

Been umming and ahing but I think DH and I will go for Dream APs and get DD1 free (she'll be 3.5) but for my parents I'm not sure - think the Francillien will be OK for them if they still do it - if not the Fantasy still is cheaper if it runs during our stay.... It's even cheaper than us getting them tickets every day with the 20% off you get with Dream APs!!!

It seems a no-brainer to me! :rotfl:

Francillien AP's do exsist but cannot be used on the2nd and 3rd day after purchase.

There is a link to AP details in English on The Very Useful Info sticky.

Francilien AP are not a great deal for visitors since after they have been validated you cannot use them on day 2 and day 3.

Aha - missed that one - thanks. I noticed that there is a 4 for price of 3 ticket as well (as part of the celebrations) which is £93 for the 4 days so not a bad price but then the Fantasy pass isn't much more at £101! :confused3

.. and you have not even taken account of the AP discounts :thumbsup2

I know it's a good deal Reid but as we (DH & I) will be getting Dream APs I wonder if Mum & SD will need APs at all - they will be with us all the time really so probably wouldn't benefit...

Can I ask, the discount on restaurants - is it just on waiter service restaurants or is it self service/counter style too?

Thanks for everyone's help. In some ways it would be easier if they just gave one option for entry :rotfl:

It's on all restuarants.

I know what you mean. I'm having a nightmare trying to chose which tickets to buy for the wife and I in October. Everytime I choose I hear something else that makes me change my mind!

So Cap'n Jack - would you get the discount on say an ice cream and drink or a sandwich and drink somewhere? Or is it just meals as such? Sorry for being specific but this may just make us decide which they go for as they'll eat 'proper' meals with us really...?

Yes, even Ice Cream. you do not get discounts from the outdoor carts or the non Disney restaurants (Rain Forest, Planet Hollywood, King Ludwigs, McDonalds), but any other counter service or table service you do (including the ice cream at Fantasia Gellati or Gibson Girl!!!)

You do get 10% Dream AP discounts at Rainforest Cafe and Annettes for sure - I haven't been to the other restaurants in the Village (apart from Cafe Mickey, which you do get the Dream AP discount) but I can't see why you wouldn't get the 10% discount at Planet Hollywood, King Ludwigs, Billy Bobs etc.

There has been a voucher scheme running to give discounts on the non Disney restaurants - RFC, PH and KL (Billy Bob's is Disney owned) recently, but officially they do not run discounts.

Also for the OP - a Dream pass entitles you to a free apparetif at table service restaurants, as well as 20% off merchandise, free pushchair/wheelchair rental, and free luggage.

Also if you opt for a Dream and come back to stay off site, you still get extra magic hours and can park in the Disney hotels (with the exception of the DLH)

Hi Dave,

I'm sorry to contradict you, but you do definitely get the Dream AP 10% discount (outwith any voucher scheme going on) at the Rainforest Cafe - we did last October, when I first purchased my Dream AP, and had no other vouchers.

That's good news, because they never used to (nor do RFC in Anaheim for DL APs, or at RFC in Orlando). Another reason for DLP APs to rock.:cool1:

Thanks for the replies :) I knew about the other discounts, it was the just restaurants I wanted clarification on - it's great that you get discount on snack type stuff! :cool1:

Mum & SD are going to go for the Fantasy passes as for an extra £16 to the 4 day hopper (£8 each) it seems worth it.

Thanks for all your help

And don't forget they can get sponsored to save 10% on the price of the APs. PM me if you need more info, we are able to sponsor several people (and would be pleased to! :) )
