AP on Blockout days

We have the "Southern California Select" passes. If we were to go on DL on a date that is blocked out, is there a way just pay the difference for that one day or would it be treated like we don't have passes at all and need to pay full price for the day?

There are no more blockout day tickets, so if you wanted to go to the parks on a day when your AP is blocked, you will have to purchase a one-day ticket.

You would either have to buy a ticket for that day at full price, or upgrade your annual pass to a level that isnt blocked out. When you upgrade you have to pay the full difference (no payments, not prorated) between the levels of AP. If you do just purchase park tickets, you will still be able to use your AP discount and stores and restaurants, but you would have to use the paper ticket for things like fastpass.
