AP now or later?

Since we started going to Disney in 2009, the AP has gone up almost every year. Don't get me wrong the DVC discount is great, but I have a trip planned for April 2015 and I was wondering if it would be better to buy the AP's now or wait? When do the DVC AP offers usually happen?

Not that I want to lay out all that money now, but if I wait and it costs more down the road, I will be kicking myself.

Since there is zero reason to have tickets before sixty days out, I would wait until late January or early February. Regular AP rates might go up a little, but it's not like they're going to increase them 50% or something.

Special DVC offers haven't been consistent thus far so it is impossible to predict whether an AP/PAP special offer will become available within your booking timeframe.

AP or PAP? Only the PAP has seen an additional savings on top of the reduced member pricing. The purchase period for the two PAP promos was the during last three months or so of the year offered.
