AP not activated and Parking?

I am on my way today (YEH) to spend some time at MK (hope its not too busy) and am planning on activating my APs at that time. I would like to park at MK - if I show the gate my printouts to be activated, will they let me get my free parking? Thank in advance!

No,you will have to pay for Parking,but take your receipt to Guest Relations when you activate your AP at Magic Kingdom and they will reimburse you.

Why not activate your AP at DTD and then head to the MK?

Oh good, that will be fine! Well with the kiddos in tow its easier to park once, go to guest relations to activate pass and get my sons GAC card AND then the reimbursement all at once - rather than park at DTD, get it activated and park and get out again to go to Guest Relations for GAC.
