AP MBs just ruined things for me!!!

Why did I order them???? I have 2 sets of MBs here from fall trips. APs linked to them and with those I was able to book FP+ 60 days out. Today I customize my AP MBs and now I can only book FP+ up to 30 days out. It's like I'm being penalized for having a AP MB!!!! Anyone notice this?

Also, I have hotel reservations starting May 30th. Once I'm 60 days out from that will I be able to book?

Your window would have been closed up to 30 days either way because of a very recent change - the AP timing is just a coincidence.

You will still open a 60-day window for your on-site resort reservation.

Glad to know I can still book for the trip 70 days out though. That would have put me over the edge of I couldn't!

I am going to order APs. We will be able to make fp+ for our onsite resort stays at 60 days out and then if we go down sometime and do an offsite resort we will be able to make fp+ for those at 30 days out correct?

How does it work for an onsite stay when you already have a customized AP magic band? Will resort stay and dining plan be added to that or will we have two bands?

You should get two, but things are changing so rapidly, the system might realize you already have them and account for that at some point soon. Then again its Disney IT so the system may never get it!

But will we have to wear two bands around? One for AP ticket on it and one for resort room stay (DVC) and dining?

Nope - the two bands will both point to the same data in the system.

You only wear one band. The bands are interchangeable. Think of them like having 2 keys to your car. You can use either one.
