figured price goes up almost every year so if i buy now i can save a few bucks paying todays prices and not future price since i always buy AP's

You’d only have one activated? Then you’d have bought another before prices go up, leave it unactivated till you need it. Sounds like a great idea. I don’t know what the answer is though.

You can link inactive AP vouchers to your MDE account to store/hoard them.

You are the one who needs to activate them at a park after the first AP expires. Do you not care about renewal discounts?

my schedule for going to wdw varies. last year we did 4 trips from sept to sept. this year its going to be feb (2018) to feb (2019) with the bulk coming late 2018. renewing wouldnt be worth it seeing that i will lose oct-jan, if sept is my start date in renewing. unless i am figuring wrong.

You can renew your pass 60 days in advance of the expiration date and 30 days after. I’d rather save more money with the renewal price.

You’re calculating correctly. You should wait until you actually need that next AP.

Sure you can horde them. It has benefited me in the past, but the way passes work now I'm not sure if it would help. In the past I could hold onto them for several years, but can you do that now?

Current AP certificates are valid until the end of the year 2030.
