In Disneyland, if I am using my AP to get the discount when buying food or whatever, do I have to show ID each time? And if so, is a NSW drivers licence acceptable ID? I'd prefer not to have to carry my passoprt around all the time.

Not sure about Disneyland, but I would guess it would be the same.
Last time I was at WDW we had annual passes and just had to show the passes each time for any discounts/inclusions. The pass looked just like a regular ticket, but had the AP details on the back. Never had any troubles with that.
Hope this helps!

I just used my Qld drivers licence, never showed my passport :thumbsup2

They basically just want a photo id, sometimes.... depending on the person. They didn't always ask for it, actually at restaurants I was not asked once. The only places I was asked was at the World of Disney store in DTD (and not many times) and the merchandise shops in Main Street at DL park. Was never asked at the hotel shops, CA park shops, other DTD shops (the vinylmation one).

I was also often not asked when I was charging to my room, they obviously thought my room key was id enough.

i was never asked for ID but carlo was asked for ID and he just showed a NSW 18+ card he had in his wallet... and he hasn't resided in nsw for 10 yrs :)

i guess most any photographic id will do..
