AP Hotel Rates

This has always been possible fwiw, but previously the site would not let you actually see the AP rates online with an unactivated pass, you had to call up for it. Apparently it's that second part that's changed.
I am pretty sure that I did not have to call to see the discount at that time either. The only time I remember making a call to customer service for a trip was last year after I had booked something and couldn't make the change needed online that had nothing to do with annual passes.

There have always been people who could see the AP rates online with just a voucher. It’s been a discussion here for years. But as I said before, no rhyme or reason why some could & some couldn’t.

I ended up calling today and having our previous resort package switched to an AP stay. I suppose I could’ve done it online but it would have meant cancelling everything, having my money paid on the package refunded and having to book it entirely from scratch (we ended up changing resorts and adding a day—saved $2000 and essentially paid for my AP)! The CM did tell me I would have to show an active AP upon check-in (so I guess a trip guest services at the closest park will be in order after we drop our bags).
