Do you guys think Disney will continue to release AP discounts to AP holders in 2007, and at the same time offer what appears to be random e-mail pin discounts?.

I was thinking about buying airfare from Denmark to Orlando in mid July, and just wait to book room in Disneyworld for another 2 or 3 month from now.

If a AP discount comes up, then i will just buy whatever is available (just along its a Deluxe resort).

If a AP discount dosnt come up for July, i will just book a room in the price range of 175-250 dollars per night.

I think July the only AP discounts were for the Beach Club and Saratoga Springs. They didn't offer for any of the other resorts.

Maybe your right, but in July 2005 i got a AP discount on both Wilderness Lodge and Beach Club! :)

I hope for one in July 2007! :)

In July 2006, the only AP rates were at the DVC resorts. They included Beach and Yacht Club Villas and studios, Boardwalk Villas and studios, Old Key West, Saratoga Springs and Wilderness Lodge Villas. The moderate and value resorts did not have an AP rate. HTH

As an AP holder i have to say that the discounts are getting lower, and they are offering them less... now certaqin months never even see a discount.Thats why i jumped on the code when it came out cause there may not BE an AP code.

BTW, hello Denmark! I have family there myself, some who ive never even met!

Up until summer of 2004 AP discounts used to be 40%. Then they went to a flat rate discount. I remember July 2006 there were discounts at the Beach Club. I think a standard room went for $189 per night. The code that floating around now is better than what the AP discount would be.

Only those few resorts?? That's not very generous at all. I thought I had read that AP holders got the guaranteed lowest rate at Disney resorts, but it looks like the pin code people are getting a better deal :sad2:

AP rates are never guaranteed. Since 2005 AP rate was $80 off a deluxe hotel during value season. People with the code are booking the Poly for $197 a night. If AP rates in Sept. are the same $80 off the code is a better option.
