I am thinking about upgrading my PH pass to an AP while at DLR in April. I am thinking maybe of taking the kids on another trip in Nov (6th - 11th). How much could I get a DLR hotel room for at the AP price at that time?

I don't know about the hotel, but they start putting up the christmas stuff as soon as holloween is over, it takes a few weeks. Last year it was Nov 16 or 17 that they concidered it the first day of christmas season, which means fully decorated and running christmas parade etc.

The PP is right it starts going up in November but isn't complete yet when you'll be there. As for the hotel, I'm not sure. I haven't booked in November in years (even though that's a time I go A LOT... maybe I should!). It's after Halloween and before Thanksgiving so it should be a more value time- kind of like when I just went in March. After the February holidays and before Spring Break season. I paid $169/night at DLH on my AP rate then. I would expect something similar in November- but could be wrong. Perhaps someone who stayed this past November on an AP rate could be more helpful!

Sounds like fun! I love that time of year. Just be sure to stay one weekend night so you can see fireworks!

They haven't released the AP rates for November yet, April has some but not all month. I can't tell you what the rates are without knowing what your dates are. If you upgrade at the beginning of your stay you can get the AP rate for your April stay, if it's available.

We stayed PP concierge with the AP rate for *I think* $169 a night 11/16-11/20/07. It seems to me that the DLH for a park view room was the same rate, or very close to it, because I had originally booked that and then decided PP concierge would be a better value for us since we are a family of 5, not to mention I had previously stayed at both the DLH and the GCH so I really wanted to try PP.
