Hello, new here. I am just wondering if anyone has used these. If I purchase an AP gift voucher but don't plan to activate it for 10-12 months, will I have to pay the difference if the price goes up? TIA for any help or suggestions.

The voucher should have a date on it that it has to be activated by. If you activate before that date, you will not have to pay for any price increase (if one has taken place). If you activate after that date, you will have to pay the difference between what was paid for your AP and the new AP cost.
