AP food and merchandise Discounts?

Hello,
Does the Premium AP offer any additional discounts in regards to food and souvenirs at WDW? Or do you get the same discounts regardless of the type of AP you purchase?

The discounts are the same. The PAP gives you access to the water parks and PI.
