AP F&W Pins and TSA

Talking to a woman this morning and she was saying that she won't be able to take her AP Pin (the one we get at the F&W). All her luggage will be carryon, so she'll leave the pin here. If that's true, it's another reason why they should have given us the glasses again! As an aside, the person handing them out gave me a chuckle when DH and I got ours. I asked her if she needed to see our APs and ID, as most places do. She just smiled and said, "No, I trust you. After all, who'd wait in line just for a pin!" I think she missed giving out the glasses.

1,000,000% not true. Pins are just fine in carryon. People bring gallon sized baggies full of filled lanyards of pins.

I can't even imagine how she got that idea. Pins are perfectly acceptable in your carry on bag.
