We are going to the world 8/27/2011 to 9/03/2011

then

We are also going

8/25/2012 to 8/29/2012 then a 4 night cruise

Now if I start my AP on 8/27/2011 how many days will I have to purchase tickets for my 2012 trip. ARE THERE ANY AP EXPERTS OUT THERE?:worship:

You'd need tickets for the final 2 days.

Your ticket will be valid through the end of the day 8/27/2012

You may want to check to see if it cheaper to just get discount tickets from UT if it will not cover both of your trips.

You are going to have to do the math.

A 10 day NE is most likely going to be cheaper if you have to buy extra tickets.

How many park days do you need to cover both trips?

IS a 10 day NE the longest ticket you can get?

I need to cover 7 & 4

Can you do your trips so you only have 10 total days?

Like I said you have to do the math. A total of ten days on a NE tickets may be significantly cheaper than an AP and two extra days.

I would also say two separate tickets 7 and 4 may be cheaper than an AP with 2 extra days.

Other course I know that an AP can give you discounts so that has to be factored in also.

And I see that you are staying at SSR so are you also DVC which can get you some discounts?

we are DVC, we can't change plans either for this year, airline tickets are bought and next year cause the cruise there isn't any wiggle room.

We thought APs with TIW card would be best fit. I was hoping that we could get away with only needing 1 extra day in 2012.

My comment was not to change your dates but to change the number of days in the parks.

On your first trip do need 7 days of tickets? You could put a rest in somewhere and just travel around the resorts or maybe do a water park, need a ticket but not as expensive as a one day MYW, go to DTD, etc.

I am glad to hear this. Trying to work in a trip next year using the AP's we will buy the end of May. When I called ticketing, they told me that if I bought them on 5/30, they would be good thru 5/29 of next year. However, she didn't sound too sure of that answer.
