AP entrances

My fingerprint rarely works first time but not going to do any of that .
Are we allowed to use wet wipe before we touch the scan ?
The scanner has nothing to do with your actual fingerprint. It takes physical measurements. Some guests, with arthritis, find their finger size can change during the day. Enough so they can fail the scan occassionally. A supervisor can take the guest picture with a tablet, the CM asks first. Makes it easier and faster the next time you fail.

The AK one is typically at the far right as you enter - it will always be seared into my memory as the last time I tried to use it, I reached out to tap my MB and a CM jumped in front of me and yelled in my face, "ARE YOU AN ANNUAL PASS HOLDER?" I responded, politely, that yes I was. He then got in my face saying, "I'm only doing my job". Here's a thought - if you are THAT concerned that people are abusing the use of the lines, close them or check APs on the MDE app before entering. I felt like I had been accosted - not a great start to my day.

Did they try resetting the print? I had trouble one winter. After the second reset, I decided that maybe my hands were dry and cold. So I made sure to rub lotion on the finger tip and warm it up by rubbing and scratching it.
Yes,they tried EVERYTHING!lol

Hi all, I'm resurrecting this thread to ask a few questions about the AP turnstiles:
1) Would they have them set up for Early Entry? (I know they don't always have them, but if they never have them at EE I won't even bother looking)
2) The last time I was an AP (pre-covid), they still issued the yellow AP cards and I think we showed that (or at least the first one in our party did) when tapping in. Now that they don't seem to do the cards any more, how do they know whether you're an AP holder? Do they make you show it from your phone (in the Wallet) they way you have to when getting the discount for purchases?
Thanks!

They put them up when crowds are high. If you are off-peak, there might not be one at all. There usually isn't one at MK when I go (off peak). The one that is reliable is the right hand side in International Gateway into Epcot.

Yellow cards? That is years behind. It's all on your magic band or your Apple watch.

At Epcot they had a line for early entry and it was great. The other lines were probably 30 people deep.

You don’t have to show anything but the tapstile turns a purpleish color and the CM may be able to see.
