We are leaving in 4 days!!!!:goodvibes We have decided to go again next August as well and need to upgrade our 6 day park hopper to DVC APs.

A few questions???

1) Does it matter if our tickets were bought through Undercover Tourist??

2) How do we upgrade the tickets?

3) Were do we go?

4) What documents do we need?

5) How long does it take to upgrade?

Is there anything else I need to know??

Thanks!!

All you need are the tickets and your DVC membership card as well as ID for those over 18 to upgrade the tickets.

If you bought the tickets from UT, then use them one time as it will upgrade the value of the ticket to gate price (not what you paid).

Take the tickets and your membership card to any guest relations window at the parks or DTD, and tell them you want to upgrade the pass. You will then pay the difference.

It only takes 5 minutes or so, depending on how many tickets you are upgrading.

Have a great trip!

So you would go into a park first and then to Guest Services and not do this at a ticket window?? Wouldnt that make the value of my 6 day tickets go down?? :confused3

Do all members of my family (4 of us) need to go into the park or could I just go in and take there tickets in to upgrade them?? We are staying at WLV and I was thinking that I could run over to MK do the upgrade while the fam stays back. Then we would go to AK later for EMH.

Thanks again!!!

Use each ticket first the go to GR not a ticket window. This means everbody should be there to get in. Every adult will need to show an ID to get the pass. Your 6 day ticket will be credited for a current 6 day ticket if you use it first. If you do not use the ticket, you will get the price you paid for the ticket.

Thanks!! Two more questions.

1) What is the price difference going to be about from the 6 day hopper to the DVC AP?? 2 adults + 2 kids

2) Is there a list somewhere of all the AP discounts??

Thanks

Make sure you know what you're expecting to pay total for your upgrade. We got a CM who didn't know what she was doing. Our tickets were from UT also. We used the tickets to get into the park just like you're supposed to, and she tried to tell us that we didn't get the $50/ticket credit for park hopping because we hadn't used that feature yet. After trying to get her to understand that we had paid for that feature whether we'd used it or not, we fiqnally got a manager involved and got it fixed. It took about an hour and a half total to get it done, but we sent the kids ahead to ride Buzz Lightyear while we were doing it, so thet didn't mind since they want to ride it over and over anyway!
