AP discounts: When they're released...

....Are there only a certain amount given out? Or as long as you're an AP holder and have a room reserved,you can get the discount? Just trying to find out if there's going to be a mad rush
to the phones on the days these discounts are released! I do believe there are going to be discounts for the time I'll be there(next year,late June,early July). I read over on Mousesavers that
historically that time period had nice discounts!!

There are only a limited number of rooms. If your resort is already close to full for your dates, they may not offer them for those dates/resort. Just because you already have a reservation does not guarantee a discount, actually it may hurt when they look at the number of empty rooms to determine if they will offer a discount.

Just like DebbieB said, there are always only a limited amount of rooms set aside for a discount. We get our rooms with a CM discount and they go really fast. The AP rooms go quickly too, especially since lots of FL folks are AP holders too. I too have seen times when certain resorts are excluded from the discount (often WL or any new resort).
