Is there a discount on Blue Man Group with an AP? I havent bought my tickets for this yet. Didnt know if I should buy online or wait.

there is a 10% discount for APs.

There is also a 10% discount for AAA,

Ya know....there really aren't too many "good" perks left for preferred AP holders anymore... :sad2: I can get the same discount with my AAA card....AND only ONCE has onsite hotel rate been better with AP than AAA :sad2:

(and before Metro chimes in, we never have a car when we're there, so the 'free parking' doesn't apply to ME personally  )

Oh well.... :confused3

Yeah, and if you stay onsite, free parking doesn't even apply to those who do bring a car.....

Well, as I am going to AAA to pick up my park tickets, I guess I will get my Blue Man tickets then too.

Shucks, maybe I dont need my AP anymore. I dont use it for room rates, since I want my upgrade anyway.

I know; I hear ya's on the AP discount. The only reason we keep our APs is because we go > 1 per year. As long as they keep the 99$ renewal fee, it makes sense to.

For non-locals who don't park in the CW garage and who book with the Super Saver/AAA rates for hotel upgrades, it only makes sense to be an AP holder if you go more than once per year. If you only go once a year, you're better off buying the Bonus Pass and using AAA for discounts. The AP perks and discounts are definitely worse than they use to be, but I'll take them over Disney AP perks any day. ;)

i agree totally...and we usually only go once a year! I'm sure one day in the near future, you won't be able to spend 3 days at UO for $99 (the AP renewal price)....so, like ya said, the renewal price pays for itself :thumbsup2

Does Disney even have perks on their AP's? Other than admission and parking...not much for locals. No park discounts at all.

They have very few discounts for AP holders except for hotel rates. Very few of the stores and restaurants give you an AP discount. The main store, (The World of Disney store) does but it is one of few that do.

That's my point...who wants to leave one of the parks and go to DTD just get a discount on a shirt or something? :confused3
