AP discount question

We will be in the World May 16-22 staying at the GF. My parents will be coming down for the last 4 days of the trip. We were all originally going to be down in November and at that time they were going to stay at a friends time share. Well now since our dates are different the time share won't work since it does not run Sunday to Saturday. The cost for the time share was only $100 for the week. We have been saving for some time to be able to stay at GF so I can not afford to pay for another room their for them. They don't mind staying at another resort and the AllStars would be fine for them. It would be nice to have them onsite rather than an offsite location. So now to my question. Providing that AP rates come out can I book 2 seperate reservations as 2 different hotels with overlapping dates with one AP?

I did it. We're staying at the BWV for 9 days then spending the last 2 at POFQ on the AP rate. While we're at the BWV my daughter, SIL and grandkids are coming down and staying at Pop Cent in a room that I booked with the AP. When booking the Pop room for my kids, I asked the CM if it was 'legal' to book a second room at a different resort, he put me on hold for a LONG time, so I hung up and just called back and booked Pop. We have 2 separate ressies at 2 different resorts with one overlapping date. When my extended family arrives, I'm going to check in with my daughter at Pop, she'll have one room card-key under her name, I'll give the other to my SIL and that's that. I would have liked to just book Pop under both my daughter and SIL's name under the AP, and you should ask about it when calling. Maybe you'll get a straight answer, but regardless, if you just go ahead and book two as I did, there's nothing to prevent it.

When I did it I was able to book 3 rooms all with the names of the people actually staing in the room all linked to mine all with the ap discount. I was told since the people in the other two rooms werent checking in with me (not just not at same time but days later) I would have to come back and show my ap with them. I ended up cancelling that and getting packages so I didnt get to see it through, but the booking when through just fine.
