I have DVC, AAA, and AP. I was thinking of booking a room for a friend of mine for this spring for her honeymoon. Will I be able to use the AAA or AP rate even though I won't actually be there? :confused3

It's been my experience that on 2 occasions, one under AAA rate, and one under AP rate, I've been asked for my AAA card and for my AP. Of course you'll get people who haven't been asked for it, but I'd hate to take the chance of her being asked for it and possibly losing out on the room. I know whenever I book a room anywhere at the AAA rate they always say you have to be present with the AAA card at check-in.

It is my understanding that the cardholder (AAA, AP) must be present at check-in.
