Also, in a related question to yours, Butterbeer (or any food I think) at the carts is not discounted but Butterbeer in the Three Broomsticks (or Hoghead) is discounted.

Still on the fence as to whether to try the QS plan, or just dine using our AP discount. Maybe we'll give both a go as a little experiment, and see where we get the best savings and value.
You can purchase the QS plan right at the restaurant. So, my plan is to figure it out on the fly at the CS places if I'm just going to buy the meal or if I'm going to buy a QS plan. If you figure $4 for the snack (some are more some are less) and $2 for the drink, the meal+drink would need to be at least $14 to break even. But I'm going solo so it will be a little bit easier.
