AP discount on existing reservation

I am planning a Disney wedding and honeymoon for me and my fiancee... and i need to make room reservations as soon as possible. I have an AP now, and we will both have APs after the wedding...

I wanted to know if I can make a reservation, and if a AP room discount comes out later, be switched to that if my dates fit in hte discount category.

I MUST book now (cannot wait til August when these are usually announced for October) because I MUST have a handicapped accessible room with a roll-in shower, which are hard to reserve close to the date. Do you think disney will let me do this, or cancel the existing reservation and then rebook it immediately or something?

I WILL be travelling those dates in October due to the wedding, but I also really do need a discount on the rooms! thanks

Yes, you should definitely book now! I do it all the time. Then if and when a deal comes out, my TA automatically makes the change for me..same reservation number so I assume that means you don't have to cancel and rebook.
