Trying to figure out if the AP is right for us. One of the things I am looking at is how to quantify the dining discount with the AP. We will be 5 adults and 2 kids. I know that the AP gives you 10 percent off at certain restaurants and I have confirmed that all of our TS reservations are at those places. I know that the AP discount will not cover alcohol. What I can’t figure out is how many diners can I cover with discount. The Allears guide says it varies from 4-10 people. Does anyone know if for Chef Mickeys, 1900 Park Faire, Whispering Canyon and Tusker House I can cover 7 people with the discount?? Also, what should I be thinking about that would make TOW card worth it? I saw threads that say if you spend at least $750 at eligible places, then it is worth it but that doesn’t seem to take into account that I already get 10 percent off with the AP so I would only be getting an additional 10 percent off (plus 20 percent on alcohol) so I think I would need to spend more like 1500 in food for it to be worth the$150 cost. Am I thinking about this correctly???
