AP discount for BWV studio?

I read there was a room only discount for AP holders.
I tried to register my AP online but kept getting an error, so I called instead.
When I tried to book a studio at BWV I was told the discount only applied to 1 bedrooms.
Is this true?
I hate to say itb ut I didn't believe her. I really felt like she was trying to up the sale.
 
But I had a simliar experience this week with a CM giving me wrong info about discount rates and booking. They said all sorts of weird and incorrect things and I almost cancelled the reservation I had already because I didn't like waht I was hearing

It might be that all the AP discounts for 2BR and studio have been booked for the dates you are looking and 1BR is all that is open at that rate.

I would always call back if you are uncertain about the response you received. When I called back, the CM explained that the rate DID apply to XYZ but that all XYZs were already booked.

Hope that's the same case for you -- it might mean lots of calling back to grab one tha topens up but at least there will be hope!

I noticed they had a new system that located my account before sending me to a CM.
I wonder if they are tracking things more closely.
Like when I went to register my AP, I had to log in first.
Well I get told that there a several accounts w/that email address & I need to go to manage accounts first.
I have a separate loging for our DVC account which showed up.

I am not a fan of their new account location abilities.
We are a military family and it seems like each time I call, something is outdated on the account and they're always super helpful in updating... but then when I call back something else is no longer current.

I was so frustrated after my experience with the CM who told me that I couldn't book a Villa until 6 months out and that my group of 5 had to stay in a 2BR even after I said I had the site open in front of me and it said the 1BR fit 5. She kept saying the system won't let her do it so it can't be done... even though I could do it online. She even said she was worried my group wouldn't fit in the room we booked at BWI, which got me all flustered and I was ready to just cancel it all.
Luckily, after I hung up, I thought about it and felt like I was right, so I called back. The 2nd CM said that Villas can be booked MUCH sooner but that the rate I wanted was totally booked out and that our group COULD stay in certain 1BR Villas. She also said she saw no problem with us fitting in a room at BWI and apologized profusely.

I hope if you call back you get better answers and that the system gets sorted out for you!
 

I booked a studio at BWV with ap discount. I swithched to BWI as soon as a room was available. There was most likely no studios available. Only 1 bedrooms.
