AP discount before actual close?

I close on 7/11/11. However, I will find myself staying in WDW twice in June for business trips - once at YC and once at the Dolphin. For obvious reasons, I would prefer to get my AP with the DVC discount in June so I don't have to buy MYW tickets that month.

Any ideas on how to make this happen, assuming it's possible at all?

You have to have the blue membership card to buy a DVC AP at the parks. And you can't buy it from DVC online unless you are officially a member and have access to the website.

Just buying the full price AP ($100 more) may be your best deal vs. buying separate tickets earlier and then a DVC AP. Well if it's for more than a day, I guess that would definitely be the best deal.

I'm fairly positive that you need to provide some formal form of your Member Identification number. I have always provided my blue Member card also.

Unless the seller has a trip planned which is delaying the close, you may close sooner than that. Otherwise, buying the AP at the current rate is probably the route to take. This won't be the first time Disney gets an extra $100 from you without trying, now that your a DVC member

Sorry to say, it's not possible. You can't buy the DVC pass until you are a member and you won't be a member until you close and are in the computer system (about a week after close).

You won't be able to upgrade, because the MYW tickets can only be upgraded on site and the upgrade must be done within 14 days of the first time the MYW ticket is used.

Why did you purchase a contract with a closing for so far out? I would have looked for a different contract.

Because the price was cheap and I didn't foresee any trips to Disney before the contract closed.
