I'm a passholder, so I usually book the room only passholder deals. However, I think I'd like to try the dining plan on my next trip. Is there a minimum number of nights you have to book to get the dining plan? I usually only stay 2 nights, but 3 is possible.

There are WDTC ticketless packages available for AP-ers.
That is what you would need to book to have the DDP with your resort stay.
The ticketless packages can be booked through Disney or AAA.
I believe you will be okay with anything above a 1 night stay.

Free dining packages have required a three night minimum stay and a 1 day park ticket purchase.

OP -- we are AP holders and book the ddp on our 1 night stays often. This is a great way to do it. In January we booked POFQ 1 night with the AP discount and added the delux ddp. We used our 3TS over our arrival day and departure day, got our mug and then checked into the BWV on Sunday. We really like that AP holders can do this now and even for a one night stay. The QS is a plus too for one night because you get the mug.

Thank you so much for your replies! n2mm, I'm glad to hear that you book DxDP on 1 night stays too...I usually stay either 1 or 2 nights, so that would be PERFECT for me!! Thanks again :)

You can book a 1 night package with DDP. The 3 night minimum is for free dining, which you can't get on an AP package anyway.

You could even get a passholder room discount applied to your AP room/dining package, make sure you ask.
