AP Dining Pins?

Okay, I have a question...

I remember readin ghere on the Dis that if you have an AP and you go to certain table service restaurants they give you a special pin for each $30 (?) you spend....

Is this still available? How does it work? We used our APs before for our discounts and spent well over $30 and never gotten a pin. Do you need to ask the CM for it?

Any help would be great.. Thanks guys!

They currently are offering a Remy pin with every $30 purchase. The restaurants usually don't offer it, you have to ask, but some will ask if you want it. Be careful of your AP discount. We were 3 cents under $30 and couldn't get the pin or pay the difference to. I was told the server can ring it up in such a way that you meet the minimum and get the pin, but ours didn't offer and it was too late.

I should add, there's usually a small sign that shows the pin and the offer somewhere near where you check in.

I really wished I would've remembered about the dining pins on my last trip! There were 6 of us, so we would've gotten a lot of pins wherever we went! Oh well.

Yes, this is for AP holders only. You can get it at most of the table service restaurants in DL, DCA and the Disney hotels.

We bought our 2 at Rancho, they didn't release any new ones before our AP's ran out, only the Lady & the Tramp and the Madd Hatter. I'd love to have a Remy....anyone going that could get me one? I have paypal and will be pay for shipping!

The restaurants that have them will have the signs up, if the sign is gone they are out. Just ask at the register when you buy your meal, you have to spend over $30 (I think) to get one.

Hey Kerri! Yeah, if they have one I'll get you one! I'm sure we'll go to Rancho (I might have to buy dessert to get to $30! )and we already have other PS's so we'll be spending more than $30. If they have them I'll get an extra!! I need to remember to look out for those dang signs!

we are going in November, and going to get the AP there, just to get the flexibility of the days we'll be there and for the discount. Is it just one pin at a time, or are there multiple designs to choose from?

I heard it was 1 pin for each $30 you spend. So if you spend $60 you get 2. But I don't know if that's a fact...

It's true that you get 1 pin for each $30, but they will all be the same design, as they only release them one at a time. Last week we got 3 Remy pins at BB, which was fine cause dd, ds and I all collect pins. They are not always availible and when they run out, that's it.
