I am new here, and I've already acquired gobs of knowledge from these boards. I love it! :p

We are planning a trip to WDW in February, and I have a couple of questions. Is it possible to get deeper resort discounts for having both an AP and a DC membership? I belong to DC already, but if the discounts are deep enough, I would purchase an AP too.

Also, it will be just me, dh, and my 2 (almost 3) y/o ds. I've been to DW one time years and years ago, but dh has never been. If money was not an issue, which resort(s) would be the best ones to stay in? I want something that would be fun for my ds and also both relaxing and magical :) My dh is not the type to get excited about these kinds of things, so I want to knock his socks off. ;) I would appreciate any suggestions!

you can inquire about the annual pass rate and even book a room at that rate without having the pass in hand at the time of booking. If you are able to get the rate then only one member of your party needs to purchase the annual pass by checkin time to get that rate. As far as recomendations on hotels with a small child......especially if money is no objet....one of the monerail resorts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The contemporary Tower is our favorite. The transportation ease with strollers at these resorts is wonderful.....In my opinion the moderates are not worth the extra expense without the transportaion / location perk (monerail, boat, walking distance). We sometimes split our stay between one of the AllStars (value ) and a Delux (pref contemporary).

Also, consider using dreams unlimited travel (the link is on this websight somewhere)....they are wonderful (good at finding discounts, setting up your priority seatings, etc)

Hope this helps

Thank you for the info. I had heard that dreams unlimited is a good site to book through, so I do plan on using their services.

I forgot to mention that I am a nurse, so I believe am entitled to a significant discount at the Swan & Dolphin. Is there still *Magic* at these hotels since they are not owned by Disney? What are the benefits, if any, of staying Swan/Dolphin versus the Poly or Contemporary?

And does anyone know if you can get a discount with BOTH the AP and DC? Or can you only use one?

Thanks again!
