AP code

We are scheduling a trip in May. If I make a room-only reservation via Internet and an AP code comes out, can that be applied to my reservation? Or do I need to make the reservation by phone to be able to do that?

If you book online and afterwards see AP rates have come out, call Disney and they will cancel your original reservation and rebook you at the discounted rate.

Now, if you make the original reservation over the phone and call them for the discounted rate, Disney will apply the discount to your reservation and you are good to go.

Either way works fine as I have done it both ways

According mousesaver history, they were released on Feb. 22 last year. Easter Sunday was later last year, so since it's earlier (by a week), maybe they'll get released earlier. I would go to WDW one day earlier if I can get an AP on my room. Since I'm still waiting for April/May airfare out of Wash. DC, I'm pretty flexible right now.

Thanks for the info. I finally called and was told I can only add the AP discount if I make it by phone.

Also, I asked the guy when he thought May AP codes would come out, and he said he thought in about three weeks.
