AP certificate

I'm not sure they send any paper. I believe all you need is the confirmation number and you would present that and an ID when you activate. At times you don't need the confirmation number. The system knows you purchased an AP.

If you have an MDE account it will automatically link to that if you bought it through Disney. You will need to go to GS or a ticket counter at a park or Disney Springs and get your card to use for discounts, you will need a photo ID. It will be on your MB linked through MDE.

Deleting my post because it was not helpful.

Just purchased an AP a few days ago - got a confirmation email with our number on it. But without doing anything I was able to open up the App and start making fastpasses so it updated that for me automatically I guess. It's been years since we've had tickets, but I had an account and so they just connected them for me.

Since you have to wait in a line (ticket counter or guest services) it depends on how long the line is. Once you make it to the front of the line it just takes a few minutes.

Your answer is about what needs to be done, in person, in order to convert an AP certificate to an activated AP.

The OP is asking about a different process... the ordering of the original AP certificate, on line.
