AP - Buy in advance or at the gate?

Howdy! We leave in 4 days. I'm planning on getting an AP, but was wondering if it made any difference whether I bought it over the net & picked it up at one of the little kiosks, or just purchased it whan I get there. I think there's a $2 fee for purchasing them over the net. Any thoughts - pros/cons? TIA!

Well..if you're getting a PAP, you'll need to get your picture taken regardless of where/how you bought it. It's just as easy to get it at the gate and then go over to Vacation Services for processing.

Just wanted to jump in and ask where Vacation Services is. I bought a PAP and will need to get my picture taken. Is it inside the park? Thank you.

I posted it in the discounts on universal passess section and instead of opening another thread I thought I'd ask in this one since it's about purchasing PAP in advance or at the gate. Is 15% discount still available on 2day if PAP bought at the same time at the gate?

update: I called the AP line at Universal and they said that you can get the PAP and the discount on 2park/2day at the same time.

Vacation Services is located to the left after you enter the gates at IOA. At the Studios, it's to the right. You should see the signs but if not, someone can guide you. I would suggest getting there as early as possible since the lines can be pretty long during the mid-day and afternoon hours.
