AP BRP---let me know if I've got it straight.

First of all, we have decided to go to Disney as a family in June for 3 to 4 nights, then I will be going solo in August for 5 nights. My inclination is to get an AP for me.

How do I go about this now?

1. Should I order the AP from the Disney website?

2. Is it a voucher they will send me? I want to get the voucher for now so I can access the BRP rates and then activate it in June when we arrive. Is this right?

3. I need to get the voucher in my hands by 120 days out in order to make a BRP reservation...is that also right?


Any advice will be appreciated. Now if we could only decide on a resort! There are too many good ones to choose from! My boys are saying "Animal Kingdom! ....No! Beach Club.....No! Polynesian" .....all excited and no fighting, thank goodness!

Well, I'm no expert, but this is what I've gathered...

1. You can call and order on the phone (or online).
2. Yes, you get a voucher that has to be activated when you get to the park. The actual "year" starts when you activate it.
3. You now have to book at least 60 days before your travel date for BRP. If you call "ticketing" at 800 828-0228 maybe the next day after ordering your AP, they should be able to give you your number so you can book online. This saves you the 7-10 day wait for the voucher to arrive in the mail, although if you have until June, you could probably wait.

Hope this answers your questions. Maybe someone else can verify what I've told you is correct, but from what I read, it should be.
