AP and TiW

This is more of a question about the TiW card than AP upgrades. We are planning on upgrading our tickets to APs since we are planning a Halloween trip next year. Right now, we are currently going with FD, but we have a few extra ADRs that we are going to pay OOP for. If we upgrade our passes to APs, can we buy the TiW card at the same time? Also, would we be able to use it that night?

Yes and yes. You can buy the TiW card at the same time you upgrade to APs and it will be live immediately.

Upgrade the tickets after the first use and buy your TiW card. Then you can use it to cover an "extras" you order on the DP like apps or alcoholic beverages

TIW card is the best "trick" that we've found to reduce that ever-growing food & drink bill at the world.

Been buying TIW for about 8 years now - and we LOVE it. We always have dinner at a SIG - the result being that our $100 TIW cost gets paid off FAST (usually within 3 meals). And going twice per year, total of about 18 dinners a year? That little card saves US about $500 a year, after paying it off .
