AP and ticket experts I need your help!

I booked my package today through disney. Room, hoppers, DDP all with a 20% room code. My question is can I upgrade my ticket to an AP while keeping DS as a regular hopper? I don't mean while I'm there, I mean if I called before our trip.

No. With a pkg everyone in the room must be on the same pkg with the same type of park ticket.

When you get there it's easy to go to any guest relations (either park or at DTD) and have them take your ticket off your Key to the World Card and upgrade you to an AP. The resorts can not do Annual Passes, you must go to a guest services at a park or at DTD.
