AP and parking

I have an annual pass this trip and we will be staying offsite. I understand free parking at the theme parks is a benefit, so do I just show the AP to the parking attendant? The front of the AP looks like a regular ticket so do I just show the back of the ticket where it says AP? Just want to double check.

Yes, you just show them your AP and they should wave you through.

Actually, yes, show your pass. Not the holder for the pass. But recently, the attendants have been taking the pass and turning it over to see the expiration date on the back. We can keep our expired passes so it would be easy to pass these off to other people who would normally have to pay.

Yes. And, for other people's reference, at least when I went about two weeks ago, an AP voucher was honored to let me get into parking for free, before I picked up my pass.

The last two times (within the last 1.5 weeks) the attendant has taken the pass from me and looked at.
The very last time he actually called me by name telling me. "Have a magical day George"
Before these past two times it was hit or miss if they actually looked at it long enough to read anything.

Yep, you just flash your AP ticket. This worked out well when I had to make a U-turn at MGM Studios and didn't want to bother explaining to the CM about my wrong turn. I have no idea why I can't get to POR without getting lost.

The CM's always seem to look at my expiration date. So I just show the back of the AP so they can see the date right away. Quick and Easy.
