AP and Magic bands confusion.

Hi everyone. We are AP holders this year we are also planning on going in May. We ordered our Magic Bands and received regular ones, and mine was the wrong color. I called them to correct the error and they said they would send me the correct one. Well I received the right color but I did not get the pass-holders Magic Bands. What do I need to do? Will this cause me any problems? TIA.

The magic bands are the same. If your band isn't linked with your AP you can have that done. If you had your AP registered online you go an email a month ago telling you what to do. Your old AP will still get you free parking and discounts.

Our trip is 5/2-5/9. I had already received our bands and found out tonight that I could get the AP band with the slider. So I went on MDE and there was an option to choose a new order. I chose a different color of course so I can have more than one...so now I have a grey and green from last trip and now a yellow and the pink one should arrive with a slider. It will be made in 48 hours and then I can track it...according to the instructions.

So just log in and see if you have another option for another order "affiliated" with your AP. I would get a different color but that is just me. Hopefully they will arrive before our trips. I think they just came out.

Our AP's are linked to the Magic Bands and we don't have AP's from last year. This is our first time which is why I'm concerned about not having received anything.

It looked like it was a new order tonight so I customized a second set. Then I can attach it to any color band I want for that day.
