AP Activation

I need to activate my new AP's. My plan is to go on my arrival day and take care of mine and my son's while grandma stays with him st the hotel. If I have his magic band is that sufficient? Can I activate his AP without him being present. He's 3.5.

In the case of a young child, he doesn't have to be present.

It's not a Florida resident pass, is it? I've heard reports that they want to see everyone who gets one of those, including minors, to avoid certain gaming of the system.

Similar question. I have a 13 year old who will be with a school trip until day 3 of our trip. Will i be allowed to activate her AP when my husband and I activate ours? She has no ID to show anyway, and we are not Florida residents. I would like everyone to have the same end date and don't want to have to take time to get her activated at rope drop.

There should be no problem activating the child's AP.

But, it's nothing to sweat about.
If the CM does balk, it wouldn't be difficult to simply activate at another location and/or
at such time as the child is available.
It doesn't take much time.
