We will be purchasing APs for our October trip. On Thursday, our plane doesn’t land at MCO until 11:30 PM. We want to go to the 6 AM EEMH at HS the next morning. Will we have problems activating our AP there that early? If yes, what are our other options? Thank you!

Nope.
Guest Relations outside the park will be open by at least 5:30AM that day.
(It MIGHT be that by then you won't need to visit Guest Relations to activate the AP, but that
may or may not be in place by then. Stay tuned.)

That would be great! We really plan on getting there no later than 5AM but if we have to take turns leaving the line and going to the ticket window to activate, that’s ok. Not having to activate in person would be even better! Thank you.

That actually brings me to another question. These are gold APs because I am a DVC member. My husband is not. I will have my DVC card. Do we both need to be standing there at the same time in order to activate his?

All guests 18 yrs and older must be present (with legal photo ID) to activate a new AP.

Yes, you both need to be there. Last time my wife and I activated our APs, we also needed to show identification. I don't think i needed to show the DVC card except to purchase our TIW card, but not to acivate the APs. Be sure to get your AP card as well as you will need that for an AP discounts.
