AP Activation Question

We're planning on heading to the parks this weekend and YDD just turned 3 and now needs an AP. I'm toying with ordering online just in case there's a price increase and to have the purchase done - question is - can she get in with the voucher they email me (and then we can go to the booth later for her card/photo/etc.) or do we still need to go to the ticket booth first thing to activate the pass?

Any advantage to buying online vs just getting it at the booth?

You can take the voucher you buy online to the turnstile, they'll give you a paper ticker. Then you'll get the actual AP later at the ticket booth. The picture will be taken at the turnstile after you have the actual AP.
