AP Activation at DTD???

We are arriving around 8pm and would like to know if we can stop by Guest Relations at DTD and get our APs activated??? Also, is Guest Relations next to Ghiradelli??? :goodvibes
 
Yes, you can. I activated mine at DTD last May. There are a couple guest relations in DTD, just refer to the map when you get there.

Yes you can. But why would you? It doesn't take that long to do at the parks.

If it's a PAP and the first place you want to use it is a waterpark or DQ. You can't activate at either of those.
 

If it is a full price premium annual pass, or full price Florida Res PAP - you "should" be able to do it at Disney Quest.

The only ones that I am aware of that Disney Quest might say they cannot do would be DVC or otherwise "discounted" PAP's.

The DTD G/R Locations are in the West Side by Wetzel's Preztels or Marketplace by Team Mickey.

We get in Monday evening and the next morning is EMH (8:00am) at MK. The CM I talked to said that they may not open until 8:30, but to check at the resort. I'd rather just stop by DTD on the way to WL so I'd be all ready to go when we get to MK at 8:00am...Also, it's not a PAP. Thanks for the help!!! :goodvibes
 
One of the Guest relations at DtD is currently located in the building behind Ghiradelli. The way they move stuff around, though, that may change.

TSR6 addressed the DQ part. For the record, you can absolutely activate a PAP at a water park.

If the gates at a park are staffed, Guest Reations at that park is staffed.

Its not a just an "extra" service, it is an integral part of the parks' operation.

They wouid no more get ready to open a park without Guest Relations windows in operation, than allow guests to enter a ride without CM operators.

There are MANY guest situations (like problems with inoperable or lost tickets) than must be handled through Guest Relations.

Reply's of "Oh, there might be someone to help you over there in a half-hour or so." wouldn't cut it.

I most often get my AP renewal and pick up other tickets (MVMCP, etc) at GR in DTD. Very easy, quick. I usually am stopping at DTD on my drive in from MCO before getting to my resort. :cool1:
 
I had my AP activated in March at DTD (Guest Services)the night of our arrival because that is where we were eating dinner (Earl of Sandwich...very close!) and I wanted to get it taken care of before hitting the parks the next a.m. I also had some old admission passes that I need to check on to confirm how many days were left on them. They did that for me, too, and it was very quick and easy.
