Has anyone ever purchased an AP or a AAA membership after figuring out that the savings you received on your room rates, etc. was greater than the cost of the pass or membership? Also, someone please tell me why if you can book your trip for an on-site stay through the Disneyworld website why would you would want to use DU or Smallworld, etc. I am just starting to plan our trip for July 2005. Any response would be appreciated. Thanks

I more than make back the cost of membership every year with AAA and I don't use it for room discounts. AAA has a show your card and save program that offers lots of great discounts.

AAA is good for booking your rooms but agents at DU will keep an eye out for new codes that could save you money. It all depends on whether or not you enjoy doing the research and taking the time to do it yourself or you want someone trained that can do it for you.

Cost of an AP last year was offset by the savings on 5 nights in a deluxe resort.

If you book thru DU, even if codes aren't around when you do it, they will keep checking for you and make the change if they are successful in getting a discount. They will also make all your PSs for you. This saves you time on the phone plus long distance costs and just the aggrevation of being on hold. Plus, since Disney is all that they do, they are true experts.
